How to use File Transfer Protocol With A2 hosting

I am going to show you how use File Transfer Protocol or FTP with A2 hosting. First what we want to do is download a FTP client. In this tutorial, we’re going to use Filiezilla. 

So let’s click Download Filezilla Client and it sends me to the download page for my Operating system.

Then I’m going to click on Download FileZilla Client and then I’m going to click the Download button

Now we want to open Filezilla and now you’ll see the FileZilla Client open up.

Let’s make sure we’re logged in and click on Account Details, here we’ll find the credentials needed to log in.

Now lets copy the url in hostname and before it lets add sftp://

Now lets copy over the username

and lets copy over our password

and let’s copy the port number.

Click okay on the pop up that shows up

We can now access all the files in our a2 hosting account.
